Vanguard S&P 500 Growth ETF (VOOG) provides targeted exposure to the growth half of the S&P 500 Index. It selects approximately 230 stocks based on sales growth, earnings-to-price ratio, and momentum characteristics.

S&P classifies each stock in the S&P 500 as growth, value, or blend based on three factors: three-year sales growth, earnings-to-price ratio, and 12-month momentum. VOOG holds the growth-classified stocks with proportional weighting.
